Books & media

Book requesting, checkout status, and ebook access are not available. Use the Catalog to find the locations (building and call number) of print books, which you can check out in person.

Textbooks

Yes, you can still borrow textbooks on reserve from Ask Us service desks! Bring the title of your textbook to the Ask Us desk. (Our textbook lookup page is down.)

Technology Lending

Yes, you can still borrow laptops, calculators, chargers, and many other devices from the Ask Us service desks.

Some devices are available by online request only. Once our full website is available again, you can place requests.

Makerspace

Call 919-515-3364 to ask if the Makerspace at the Hill Library is open. Some Makerspace services may be interrupted due to the network outage.

Study rooms

Yes, you can still use study rooms. Our room reservation system may be down, so study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
