TL;DR: The gravimetric method and the uric acid method were evaluated for determining consumption and percent utilization of chemically denned diets by Argyrotaenia velutinana and Heliothis virescens and indicated that there is no difference in consumption andpercent utilization of diets containing the 2 methionine isomers.
