Binding constants were determined using equilibrium dialysis techniques. Partial characterization of the proteins was determined on polyacrylamide disk gel electrophoresis. Results indicate that DDT, fenvalerate, and parathion bind with a high-molecular-weight fraction and lindane with a lower-molecular-weight fraction which contains the juvenile hormone binding protein. Competition was demonstrated between lindane and JH III for proteins in the lower-molecular-weight fraction. No binding was observed between hemolymph proteins and carbaryl or propoxur.}, number={1}, journal={PESTICIDE BIOCHEMISTRY AND PHYSIOLOGY}, author={HELLING, DJ and BROWNIE, C and GUTHRIE, FE}, year={1986}, month={Feb}, pages={125–132} }
