TL;DR: Four Gram-negative, non-sporulating, aerobic, obligate thermophilic bacteria, isolated from non-thermal environments by enrichment with n-heptadecane as substrate, utilized n-alkanes, carbohydrates and organic acids as sole source of carbon and energy and also grew on complex media.
