author keywords: wine grape; penetration force; susceptibility; survivorship; skin thickness
MeSH headings : Animals; Drosophila / physiology; Female; Fruit; Male; Oviposition; Virginia; Vitis
TL;DR: Oviposition into intact grapes was not affected by skin thickness or °Brix; however, oviposition increased when penetration force decreased, and early ripening varieties may be more susceptible to D. suzukii Oviposition than later maturing, harder fleshed-varieties. (via Semantic Scholar)
