author keywords: epithelium; interleukin-4; STAT6; IRS-1; IRS-2
MeSH headings : Air; Cell Differentiation / drug effects; Cell Line; Cell Movement / drug effects; DNA, Complementary / genetics; Epithelial Cells / cytology; Epithelial Cells / drug effects; Epithelial Cells / metabolism; Genes, Dominant; Humans; Insulin Receptor Substrate Proteins / metabolism; Interleukin-4 / pharmacology; Lung / cytology; Lung / pathology; Phosphorylation / drug effects; RNA, Small Interfering / metabolism; STAT6 Transcription Factor / metabolism
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that IL-4 can accelerate migration of differentiated AEC after injury, and this reparative response does not require STAT6 activation, but rather requires IRS-1 and/or IRS-2. (via Semantic Scholar)
