By: C. Shelton n, D. Crosslin n, J. Casey n, S. Ng*, L. Temple* & P. Orndorff n

MeSH headings : Bacteriophages / genetics; Bacteriophages / isolation & purification; Bacteriophages / ultrastructure; Bordetella / virology; Centrifugation, Density Gradient; DNA, Viral / analysis; Humans; Lysogeny; Mutagenesis, Insertional; Replicon; Transduction, Genetic
TL;DR: UV irradiation of transducing lysates markedly improved transduction frequency and reduced the number of transductants that were lysogenized during the transduction process, suggesting that transduction was generalized. (via Semantic Scholar)
