TL;DR: A genetic linkage map was constructed for watermelon using a testcross population and contains 141 randomly amplified polymorphic DNA markers produced by 78 primers, and a sequence-characterized amplified region (SCAR) marker that was previously reported as linked to race-1 Fusarium wilt.
