Truong, V. D., McFeeters, R. F., Thompson, R. T., Dean, L. L., & Shofran, B. (2007, June 28). Journal of Food Science.

By: V. Truong n, R. McFeeters*, R. Thompson*, L. Dean* & B. Shofran*

author keywords: caffeoylquinic acid derivatives; liquid chromatography; mass spectrometry; sweet potatoes; total phenolics
MeSH headings : Caffeic Acids / analysis; Chlorogenic Acid / analysis; Chromatography, High Pressure Liquid / methods; Flavonoids / analysis; Food Analysis / methods; Food Handling / methods; Hydroxybenzoates / analysis; Hydroxybenzoates / chemistry; Ipomoea batatas / chemistry; Ipomoea batatas / genetics; Nutritive Value; Phenols / analysis; Plant Leaves / chemistry; Plant Roots / chemistry; Polyphenols; Species Specificity; United States
topics (OpenAlex): Phytochemicals and Antioxidant Activities; Microbial Metabolites in Food Biotechnology; Cynara cardunculus studies
TL;DR: Sweetpotato leaves had the highest phenolic acid content followed by the peel, whole root, and flesh tissues, however, there was no significant difference in the total phenolic content and antioxidant activity between purees made from the whole and peeled sweet potatoes. EFFECTS OF PELVIC POSITIONING AND SIMULATED DORSAL ACETABULAR RIM REMODELING ON THE RADIOGRAPHIC SHAPE OF THE DORSAL ACETABULAR EDGE

THOMPSON, R. A. N. D. A. L. L., SIMON, C. R. O. E., & ROBERTSON, I. A. N. D. (2006, December 22). Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound, Vol. 48, pp. 8–13.

By: R. Thompson n, C. Simon n & I. Robertson n

author keywords: canine hip dysplasia; defect area; dorsal acetabular edge; dorsal acetabular rim; pelvic rotation
MeSH headings : Acetabulum / diagnostic imaging; Acetabulum / physiopathology; Animals; Cadaver; Dogs; Hip Dysplasia, Canine / diagnostic imaging; Hip Dysplasia, Canine / physiopathology; Pelvis / diagnostic imaging; Pelvis / physiopathology; Radiography; Range of Motion, Articular; Rotation
topics (OpenAlex): Veterinary Orthopedics and Neurology; Hip disorders and treatments; dental development and anomalies
TL;DR: The DAE depth and area changed with pelvic rotation, and with increasing simulated DAR damage, and a linear relationship between the obturator foramina width ratio and pelvic rotation allowed estimation of the degree and direction of pelvic rotation. (via Semantic Scholar)
