TL;DR: A 3.5-yr-old, male red-eared slider was presented to the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary Teaching Hospital (NCSU-CVM VTH) in June 2009 for evaluation of a unilateral progressive soft tissue facial swelling, and treatment with surgical exploration and debridement of the mass was pursued.
