TL;DR: Compared to state-of-the-art solar-thermal water-splitting catalysts, the rationally designed redox catalyst reported is capable of splitting water at a significantly lower temperature and with ten-fold increase in steam-to-hydrogen conversion. (via Semantic Scholar)
