I am a dependable, passionate, and determined DVM/Ph.D. dual degree student studying neuroscience at NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine. One of my career goals is to improve animal and human welfare through translational research as a veterinarian. I study Alzheimer's Disease (AD) in the murine model. My project works as a bridge to fulfill the knowledge gap by defining the molecular mechanism of how protein kinase, known as TAK1, activation causes memory loss.
