Dr. Valeria López Torres specializes in human-AI interaction, experience design, and UX/UI. Her research incorporates interdisciplinary perspectives to address how design and technology shape lived experiences; and how humans think, work, and collaborate with technology. Her work includes research on long-term AI companionship, and designing visual explanations to support trust calibration and decision-making in interactions with explainable AI systems (XAI).
