Compared to a control group, art-based EE had a positive effect on children’s eco-awareness and environmental knowledge. However, effects of the art-based EE were comparable to those observed for a conventional EE summer camp. Interactions between the treatment and demographic variables (e.g., gender, age, race/ethnicity) were minimal, suggesting that both types of EE programing worked well for different groups of youth. Results highlight the potential value of art in EE research and practice.}, number={3}, journal={The Journal of Environmental Education}, publisher={Informa UK Limited}, author={Staples, Ami Flowers and Larson, Lincoln R. and Worsley, Ti’Era and Green, Gary T. and Carroll, John P.}, year={2019}, month={May}, pages={208–222} } @article{carroll_ellis_moore_2017, title={Time Travel, Double Occupancy, and The Cheshire Cat}, volume={45}, ISSN={0048-3893 1574-9274}, url={http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/S11406-016-9804-X}, DOI={10.1007/S11406-016-9804-X}, number={2}, journal={Philosophia}, publisher={Springer Nature}, author={Carroll, John W. and Ellis, Daniel and Moore, Brandon}, year={2017}, month={Jan}, pages={541–549} } @article{carroll_2016, title={Ways to Commit Autoinfanticide}, volume={2}, ISSN={["2053-4485"]}, DOI={10.1017/apa.2015.37}, abstractNote={ABSTRACT:}, number={1}, journal={JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCIATION}, author={Carroll, John W.}, year={2016}, pages={180–191} } @article{woodward_loewer_carroll_lange_2011, title={Counterfactuals all the way down?}, volume={20}, ISSN={0815-0796 1467-9981}, url={http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/S11016-010-9437-9}, DOI={10.1007/S11016-010-9437-9}, number={1}, journal={Metascience}, publisher={Springer Science and Business Media LLC}, author={Woodward, Jim and Loewer, Barry and Carroll, John W. and Lange, Marc}, year={2011}, pages={27–52} } @article{carroll_2011, title={Self visitation, traveler time, and compatible properties}, volume={41}, DOI={10.1353/cjp.2011.0025}, abstractNote={Introduction}, number={3}, journal={Canadian Journal of Philosophy}, author={Carroll, J. One widely held doctrine is that identity-over-time has causal commitments. Another is that identity-over-time is just identity (simpliciter) as it relates one object that exists at two times. We believe that a tension exists between these two apparently sensible positions: very roughly, if identity is the primary conceptual component of identity-over-time and—as is plausible—identity is noncausal, then the conceptual origins of the causal commitments of identity-over-time become a mystery. We will begin by formulating the two widely held doctrines and our puzzle more fully and more carefully. Then, the remainder of the paper will be devoted to analyzing views one might adopt that could minimize the tension. }, number={3}, journal={Canadian Journal of Philosophy}, author={Carroll, J.
