author keywords: adsorption isotherm; Hydra vulgaris; Lemna minor; Caenorhabditis elegans; molecular model; dietary sorbent
MeSH headings : Adsorption; Animals; Bentonite / chemistry; Caenorhabditis elegans; Charcoal / pharmacology; Clay / chemistry; Hydra; Microcystins / chemistry
TL;DR: Edible montmorillonite clays were characterized for their ability to bind MC containing leucine and arginine under conditions simulating the gastrointestinal tract and compared with a medical-grade activated carbon and validated in a battery of living organisms, suggesting that edible montMorillonites are safe and efficacious binders for MC-LR. RHSBoost: Improving classification performance in imbalance data

COMPUTATIONAL STATISTICS & DATA ANALYSIS, 111, 1–13.

By: J. Gong n & H. Kim*

Contributors: J. Gong n & H. Kim*

author keywords: Imbalanced data; AdaBoost; Ensemble; AUC; Undersampling; RHSBoost
TL;DR: RHSBoost appears to be an attractive classification model for imbalance data and uses random undersampling and ROSE sampling under a boosting scheme to address the imbalance classification problem. (via Semantic Scholar)
