author keywords: Cold plasma; Plasma-activativated water; Pathogenic cocktail; Response surface methodology; Salmonella
MeSH headings : Nitrates; Water; Nitrites; Salmonella typhimurium; Microbial Viability; Food Microbiology; Colony Count, Microbial
TL;DR: This study statistically optimized the operating conditions of PAW (activation time, distance from nozzle, and volume of water) using response surface methodology to inactivate Salmonella and found no significant differences in inactivation between the avirulent S.
