TL;DR: Five-day-old bobwhite quails inoculated with reovirus and Cryptosporidium previously isolated from the intestinal contents of young, commercially raised bob white quails experiencing severe enteritis suggest that cryptosporidia promoted systemic spread of reov virus, and reoviral intensified Cryptospora infection, but no significant synergistic effect on mortality or weight gain was detected.
