Core Ideas Deep tillage in the form of moldboard plow decreased in peanut in North Carolina from 1998 to 2018. Reduced tillage was adopted by more peanut farmers in South Carolina and Virginia than in North Carolina. More farmers strip‐tilled peanut across all states rather than no till.
