Departures and Arrivals: On the Importance of Researching Dangerously
New Directions for Higher Education.

Then, employing a kitchen table dialogue approach, we summarize the diverse articles featured throughout this edition, shedding light on insights that stir both our spirits and intellect. Further, we delve into three key themes that were consistently raised by authors, underscoring the urgency of researching dangerously. Lastly, we conclude with a call to action to students, faculty, academic leaders, and journal editors, offering tangible strategies to propel us beyond the current status quo toward fostering institutional responsibility and accountability.
