JOURNAL OF ANIMAL SCIENCE, 71(11), 3033–3042.

By: C. Kirby n, J. Armstrong, B. Huff, R. Stanko, R. Harvey, E. Heimer, R. Campbell

author keywords: SOMATOTROPIN; IGF-I; OVARIES; FEED RESTRICTION
MeSH headings : Animals; Blotting, Northern; Cattle / metabolism; Estradiol / blood; Fatty Acids, Nonesterified / blood; Female; Follicular Fluid / chemistry; Food Deprivation / physiology; Growth Hormone / blood; Growth Hormone / genetics; Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone / immunology; Immunization / veterinary; Immunization, Secondary / veterinary; Insulin-Like Growth Factor I / analysis; Luteinizing Hormone / blood; Pituitary Gland / chemistry; RNA, Messenger / analysis
TL;DR: Although feed restriction and GRFi decreased serum IGF-I, concentrations of IGF-i in FFL were decreased only by GRFi, and the effects of feed restriction increased serum and pituitary somatotropin (ST) and ST mRNA and decreased ST mRNA. (via Semantic Scholar)
