Both Crossandra species contained 7-hydroxyDIBOA (2c), and both Aphelandra species contained its methyl ether, DIMBOA (2b). No hydroxamates were found in 28 species from 19 other genera of Acanthaceae.}, number={7-8}, journal={BIOCHEMICAL SYSTEMATICS AND ECOLOGY}, author={Pratt, K and Kumar, P and Chilton, WS}, year={1995}, pages={781–785} }
