TL;DR: Two species of phytoseiid mites, Neoseiulus fallacis and Metaseiulus occidentalis, were subjected to toxicological and feeding tests and feeding-preference tests showed that the immature phytosingiids preferred eggs of the twospotted spider mite over European red mite eggs, but the adult phytoses preferred adult European redmites over adult twospots.
