TL;DR: The harvested perfused anuran pelvic limb (HPAPL) model maintains the anatomic and physiologic integrity of the skin from the pelvic limb, including the intact capillary network, and is an appropriate in vitro model for examining cutaneous absorption kinetics in the bullfrog.
