author keywords: coculture; alveolus; sulfation
MeSH headings : Animals; Carrier Proteins / genetics; Carrier Proteins / metabolism; Cells, Cultured; Extracellular Matrix / metabolism; Fibroblasts / cytology; Fibroblasts / metabolism; Heparin / pharmacology; Intercellular Signaling Peptides and Proteins; Lung / cytology; Lung / metabolism; Pulmonary Alveoli / cytology; Pulmonary Alveoli / metabolism; RNA, Messenger / genetics; RNA, Messenger / metabolism; Rats; Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction; Sulfotransferases / genetics; Sulfotransferases / metabolism
TL;DR: Results demonstrate a potentially important modulatory influence of sulfated ECMs and fibroblasts on FGF-BP and NDST-1 at the gene expression level and demonstrate that performed ECM appears to supply factors that modify subsequent treatment effects. (via Semantic Scholar)
