Cotton Yield and Canopy Closure in North Carolina as Influenced by Row Width, Plant Population, and Leaf Morphology
Riar, R., Wells, R., Edmisten, K., Jordan, D., & Bacheler, J. (2013, June 4). Crop Science.
topics (OpenAlex): Research in Cotton Cultivation; Crop Yield and Soil Fertility; Genetics and Plant Breeding
TL;DR:
Row width was an important cause of greater canopy closure but this did not consistently translate into yield differences and yields were more closely affected by cumulative rainfall.
