By: A. Rister*, C. Amato*, T. Nash n, M. McCoy*, M. Bereman n & K. McCoy*

author keywords: Vinclozolin; Endocrine Disrupting Compounds; Proteomics; Detoxification; Liver
MeSH headings : Adenosine Triphosphate / metabolism; Androgen Antagonists / metabolism; Androgen Antagonists / toxicity; Animals; Endocrine Disruptors / metabolism; Endocrine Disruptors / toxicity; Female; Liver / drug effects; Liver / embryology; Liver / metabolism; Male; Maternal Exposure; Metabolic Detoxication, Phase I; Metabolic Detoxication, Phase II; Mice; Oxazoles / metabolism; Oxazoles / toxicity; Oxidative Phosphorylation; Pregnancy; Proteome; Proteomics; Sex Characteristics; Sex Factors
TL;DR: Proteomic alterations in the livers of mouse dams and their male and female fetuses induced by vinclozolin, a model antiandrogenic EDC, suggest that female Fetuses increase protective mechanisms, whereas male fetuses increase ATP production and upregulate several disease pathways that are indicative of oxidative damage.
