Computation of nonclassical solutions to Hamilton-Jacobi problems

SIAM JOURNAL ON SCIENTIFIC COMPUTING, 21(2), 502–521.

By: P. Gremaud* & N. Ide

author keywords: Hamilton-Jacobi; viscosity solution; nonconvex; systems; numerical viscosity
topics (OpenAlex): Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics; Navier-Stokes equation solutions; Quantum chaos and dynamical systems
TL;DR: This paper is devoted to the construction of numerical methods for the approximation of nonclassical solutions to multidimensional Hamilton--Jacobi equations for both scalar and vectorial problems, and the convergence of the methods is investigated. (via Semantic Scholar)

Genetic analysis of Meloidogyne arenaria race 1 resistance in tobacco

PLANT DISEASE, 83(9), 810–813.

By: T. Ng'ambi*, R. Rufty n & K. Barker n

author keywords: allelism; peanut root-knot nematode
topics (OpenAlex): Nematode management and characterization studies; Peanut Plant Research Studies; Legume Nitrogen Fixing Symbiosis
TL;DR: Data indicated that resistance to M. arenaria race 1 in the three resistance sources is conditioned by a single dominant gene, but this resistance is partial compared to that for M. incognita, and the absence of segregation in the F2 populations of the crosses between resistant parents 81-RL-2K × SA 1214 × Speight G 28, suggest allelism of resistance among these genotypes.
