2005 conference paper

Fault tree uncertainty quantification using probabilities and belief structures on basic and non-basic events

Annual Conference of the North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society - NAFIPS, 2005, 65–68.

Contributors: K. Sentz* & A. Wilson*

TL;DR: This paper considers information at both basic and non-basic events, and describes uncertainties about this information in terms of both probability and Dempster-Shafer evidence theory for the AND gate. (via Semantic Scholar)

TL;DR: It is concluded that Sp3 isoforms are sumoylated in vivo and this post-translational modification plays an important role in the regulation of Sp3-mediated transcription. (via Semantic Scholar)

2005 chapter

Experimental analysis of the q-matrix method in knowledge discovery

In Foundations of intelligent systems: 15th international symposium, ISMIS 2005, Saratoga Springs, NY, USA, May 25-28, 2005: Proceedings (Vol. 3488, pp. 603–611).

TL;DR: The q-matrix method can perform fully unsupervised clustering, where the number of clusters is not known in advance, and yields better error rates than factor analysis, and is comparable in error to cluster analysis. (via Semantic Scholar)
