TL;DR: It is concluded that hypoadrenocorticism can be associated with episodes of painful muscle cramps in standard poodles and altering treatment to desoxycorticosterone pivalate resolved the electrolyte abnormalities and the episodes of muscle cramping in both dogs. (via Semantic Scholar)
