1984 journal article

Different red light requirements for phytochrome-induced accumulation of Cab RNA and RbcS RNA

Science, 226(4681), 1447–1449.

By: L. Kaufman*, W. Thompson* & W. Briggs*

TL;DR: It is possible, therefore, that developing pea buds accumulate cab RNA before rbcS and that cab RNA is not subject to the normal end-of-day signals affecting many phytochrome responses. (via Semantic Scholar)

GENETIC-VARIATION IN WEIGHT AND SURVIVAL OF BROOK TROUT (SALVELINUS-FONTINALIS)

AQUACULTURE, 38(2), 155–170.

By: O. Robison n & L. Luempert n

TL;DR: A moderate correlation between egg weight and 243 day survival, and a low, but positive correlation betweenegg weight and 223 day weight suggests that selecting heavier eggs would improve both weight and survival, suggest that selection for increased 243 day weight would indirectly select against survival. DEVELOPMENTAL ANOMALIES IN HABROBRACON-HEBETOR EXPOSED TO VOLATILIZED AGENTS

ANNALS OF THE ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA, 77(5), 597–603.

By: B. Abbott n & D. Grosch n

TL;DR: Results obtained with a recently introduced agent, triethylamine (TEA), were compared with the effects of the conventional anesthetics ether and chloroform and showed a linear relationship between the duration of exposure and survival to adulthood. (via Semantic Scholar)
