Tests of inhibition of Pseudomonas fragi in lactose-yeast extract broth by the food additives chlortctraeycline, nisin, bacitracin, chloramphenicol, lysozyme, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), nitrofurazone, propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium benzoates, and potassium sorbate found them ineffective.
